Ned Talks: Winter Break

“I’m going home over winter break, and I’m worried about how this year will go with family arguments over Christmas dinner. What should I do to ensure that this year, the problems can be avoided?”

You can’t really avoid all problems, especially if they are out of your hands, so just do your best to be civil with everyone. This time of the year is supposed to be where everyone gets to see each other at once, so if something happens, kindly remind them of that. Other than that, enjoy this time with your friends and families. Love one another, and be grateful for this time together. Have safe travels!

“What will you be doing over winter break?”

Like everyone else, I will be going back to my home in the ocean. I will take advantage of the cold weather and do things with my friends outside. I will also spend some long overdue time with my family. I can’t wait to hear from you all next year!
